Great TV; very good picture quality I bought this Samsung TV a few weeks ago. The TV has great picture quality when being fed from a Blu-Ray player or HD gaming console. The picture quality can vary when being fed from an HD set top box…some channels look awesome while others look a bit soft (even over HDMI). This probably has more to do with the HD feed than with the TV itself.I really find the amount of customizable parameters in the TV’s menu very useful in getting the set calibrated to give the best picture it can. Using a calibration Blu-Ray/DVD and tweaking a few picture settings can really make the picture quality on this set shine.The set has 2 HDMI inputs and one component/composite input. This won’t pose a problem if one has only a few devices or if one is using an A/V receiver as a switching hub…but another HDMI input and another component input might be nice.In my opinion the sound is very decent, but I prefer to use a surround sound system.
